Angel Gardens is about ten minutes from Cutting Room Square, west over Great Ancoats Street. All day brunch, proper coffee and pastries from our own bakehouse. Open early, no breakfast cut off, and a room with space in it, which Ancoats does not always have on a Saturday.
Out of Cutting Room Square, down Blossom Street, over Great Ancoats Street and through the top of the Northern Quarter. Angel Gardens sits on Rochdale Road. Ten minutes, give or take the crossing.
Ancoats has a genuine resident morning. Over 1,500 new homes and a £33m public realm scheme have made it one of the few parts of the city centre where people walk down for coffee rather than arrive by train. That also means weekend queues. If your team is at NOMA, Angel Square is a few minutes on foot, so a nine o’clock start is realistic.

House cured honey mustard back bacon, poached eggs, hollandaise, on sourdough.
Beef brisket, smoked applewood cheddar fritters and sriracha hollandaise. Angel Gardens only, and not for the faint hearted.

Review for Breakfast Manchester - Extremely friendly staff, very welcoming and accommodating. The chef went out of his way to explain the dishes and ensured we had all we needed. Best breakfast in a long time.
If you're Manchester it's a must visit for Breakfast Manchester. Food was lovely, just too much! And the staff were just so friendly, and I mean all of them. We will definitely be returning.
Had a vegan brunch in Manchester at Pot Kettle Black and it was super and it was super. I had scrambled tofu with lots of yummy flavours on a wonderful bread. The staff were very friendly and helpful staff.

No, and we would rather say so. Our nearest space is Pot Kettle Black Angel Gardens on Rochdale Road, about a ten minute walk from Cutting Room Square. Barton Arcade on Deansgate is roughly twenty minutes.
Walk it in about ten minutes, over Great Ancoats Street and through the top of the Northern Quarter. New Islington tram stop is around six minutes from Cutting Room Square on the East Manchester Line.
Yes. There is no breakfast cut off, so an eleven o’clock arrival gets the same menu as an eight o’clock one. It is the thing people are most surprised by.
