Join Be More Hive founders Jessica Sims and Kate Baxter for an immersive workshop session aimed at influencers and brands alike, helping you to define your core audience and best pitch to brands/influencers for successful collaborations.

This exclusive Be More Hive workshop “be.more.BRAND: defining your blog/brand persona to attract brands/influencers” will be the first run outside of London, and will walk you through all the elements you need to consider and fundamental practices you can put in to play to set you on the right path to creating unique, inspiring and most importantly, fruitful collaborative content, whether you are an influencer looking to work with brands, or a brand seeking the right influencer for your message.

The two-hour workshop will include a number of practical sessions for you to apply the teachings to your own business and will include plenty of time of discussion and feedback, as well as a take-home worksheet for you to work through in your own time. Jess and Kate will also be available for an hour post-session to answer any additional questions on a one-to-one basis.

What is Be More Hive?

Be More Hive is a conversational hub that helps both brands and influencers work more seamlessly together. We provide resources, events and workshops to help show both sides of the party how to make the magic happen.

The hub is managed by Jessica Sims, who has spent the last decade working with global and British brands helping to build their names within the UK’s media landscape, and Kate Baxter, author of award-winning blog Fabric of my Life and a freelance PR & Marketing consultant based in Manchester.

Jess and Kate met almost a decade ago, when Jess headed up the digital arm of the agency she was working at and got to know Kate in the early days of Fabric of my Life’s launch. They’ve shared several margaritas, Flat Whites and non-stop conversations since and now they’re both working for themselves, have joined forces and combined their talents to help drive change in the industry they both love.

With influencer marketing becoming such a crucial element of every brand’s overall marketing campaign and many influencers “influencing” as their full time job, it’s more important than ever that we make some positive changes to the industry. Brand/influencer relationships need to be valued and viewed as a positive opportunity for business growth, instead of being seen as a necessary evil.

As PR consultants ourselves, we’ve spent a lot of time having the same conversations with brands, being asked the same questions about working with influencers time and time again. Similarly, we have both been part of countless discussions with frustrated influencers who are fed up with brands not taking the time to properly understand the way they work. There’s room for improvement on both sides. Brands need to understand how the whole thing works and influencers need to be more consistent with their approach to brand partnerships and understanding of an industry that is still trying to get to grips with it all.

That’s how Be More Hive was born. We’re going to straight up tell you now that there is no one-size fits all approach to this, but there are some fundamental practices you can put in to play to set you on the right path. The information we share will evolve as the industry continues to develop and change, and is based on the feedback from as many industry insiders as possible, who have shared with us their experiences, their successes and also, their failures, so we can all learn and grow together.
